Dr. Dunn conducts comprehensive assessments for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other childhood concerns. These assessments are available for toddlers through college students and are designed to meet the needs of each individual client. Dr. Dunn has over 20 years of experience conducting psychological evaluations. She received specialized training for ASD assessments at her internship at Sparks Clinics in Birmingham and ADOS-2 trainings at Vanderbilt and Emory.
For diagnostic evaluations, the total cost for all elements of the comprehensive assessment is $1950. This fee includes an intake interview, all assessment sessions, all rating scales, a feedback session, a written report, and review of all records provided. Evaluations may be paid in full at the first session or payment can be spread out over three sessions (Intake appointment $650, Second testing appointment $650, Feedback appointment $650). If it becomes clear that a full evaluation is not needed after the intake appointment, then clients will only be charged for the cost of the intake session ($175 per 50-minute session). The cost for a screening is $650 and includes a review of records, an intake session, and one screening session. If it is determined that a comprehensive evaluation is needed, the $650 will serve as the first payment.
Dr. Dunn is considered an out-of-network provider with all insurance plans. You will be provided with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Please call your insurance provider and ask them some questions about what type of reimbursement you can expect to receive from an out of network provider.
